Serraview Spaces Module - Space Type Automation based Engage settings
Our space types are set up in such a way their definitions are directly related to whether or not they should be bookable through the Engage reservation tool.
Examples:
Dedicated Spaces: NON-reservable
Shared Spaces: Reservable
Open Shared Spaces: NON-reservable (think touchdown stations to accommodate walk-ins)
If someone changes a space type, the "reserving enabled" feature needs to be manually updated to reflect that space type. I would love an automation set in place for this.
Also, as a part of this ask, a report to let the Admin know what spaces have been changed, and by whom. Not only does that give us the opportunity as to find out WHY the space type changed (and give another training opportunity of the trickle effect this now has), but it assures the opportunity to make sure the automations have worked successfully.
The reporting will also help:
Let us know if any bookings were set for that seat, so they can be notified their reservation is no longer valid.
Allows us to have the physical signage on site updated to reflect the new space type [bookability]
