Create new neighborhood for BOS
As part of back to work planning, I am looking to mark out new neighborhoods where I will place staff in their teams as they re-enter the office.
While I can create a new Neighborhood and block it in Scenario Planner, this information is not available to me in BOS to use as a Destination for a person.7 votes -
Access Invitations to Workplace
The automation of this feature is causing a single user to receive multiple invite messages each time an added adjustment is made to their access. Since we have to assign them to one group at a time in some cases, this is not ideal. There should be an option to at least group as one message, or decide if an e-mail needs to be sent or not. Especially for existing users that are just being adjusted.

Better BOS Publishing Warning
A better warning pop up message to show that in case you are publishing unintended changes it will show for
example: "Warning you will be publishing there will be 100 unallocated workpoints, can you confirm this is correct?" This is to prevent user mistakes in case they did not intend to do this.

Cost Centres
It would be great to be able to see the cost centres in the VBS when you click on the team (without having to look at the overview and wait for it to load)

Sequence Number in Move Summary
Bring back the sequence number in the move summary! I.e. 1.001 to denote phase 1 move 1. The Move ID of a string of random numbers without any methodology makes it incredibly difficult to interpret and use

Block and stack based on information apart from organisation structure
At unimelb, each user belongs to a research group. The property team allocates desks on the floor by research group for each of the users. However, the research group is not part of current organization structure.
As a result, unimelb needs the ability to block & stack and report by research group.
What is therefore required is the ability to leverage research group stored against staff and block floors accordingly.
Eg: User A belongs to ‘Physics R&D’ research group. User A has org unit ‘MSE’ and ‘10001’ as cost centre.

Expand "Report generated..."
Certain reports in Serraview are generated with a "Report generated [insert date]" subheading.
This is incredibly useful for referencing older reports, however what the line does not tell reveal is whether that report was generated against 'Current Data' at the time, or against a 'Snapshot.' This is critical information to know.
I would love to see this additional data added to the field.

Add the option to view Workplace allocation by Org Unit levels
Currently Workplace will show allocations by Teams.
I have a large number of teams on each floor, created based on my occupant. As a result, I have teams with only a handful of occupants, sometimes only 1 person.
I would like the option to view my occupants at an org unit level so I do not have to go into each individual team to validate.
If it's by org unit level, much like the grouping in VBS, I can review all occupants and click 'Validate' only once for all. This will make validation smooth and easier for my workplace administrators.

Asset linked to floorplan and ability to add photos
As an administrator, I would like to be able to view the asset location on the floor plan. Add a link from the asset that you click on to take you to the floor plan to see where the asset is located - link to space ID.
I would also like to be able to take photos of each asset to assist with the management process. This is particularly important when managing the asset remotely and cannot inspect the item but need to describe it to the end user.

Building and Floor information accessible through VBS and Space Viewer
In V2, we had the ability to view the Floor and Buildings details through the VBS (clicking on floor number on stack) and Space Viewer (clicking 'i').
This feature has been lost, and the only way to view Building and Floor details is through Assets > Buildings > Floors.
I particularly view these details for my 'Space and Costs' details as I frequently need to review Area and Workpoint counts.

'Add employee' functionality in BOS should have more details to determine correct employee
When adding a name to a BOS (or adding a Migration Manager to BOS), typing a name like 'Jennifer Brown' brings up many choices. Can additional information be available in the pop-up to better identify the correct person. Would like to see - Team, Current Location, email address

Default Service Request to "Show mine"
Default view for Service Requests should be "show mine" as opposed to showing all. This default view should also be available on BOS and Scenario. It saves us from having to search for our "files"

Remote Working / Work from Home
Remote workers are usually assigned to a building record with an HR Status of “Remote”.
Within Serraview, you cannot assign a person to a building. He/she must be assigned to a floor/neighborhood/allocation/space which then rolls up to the assignment for the building. The issue with this is that the remote workers should NOT roll up to the assignment of the building since those workers are not coming into the office i.e. should not be impacting space planning decisions.
Serraview also does not contemplate HR Status. An organization would want to set the HR Status to “Remote” for an employee in…

Search workpoints in VBS
Enable to search workpoins in VBS and it will highlight the searched numbers on a floorplan, and provide a box to view the selected space details and occupant.
For eg. i have a list of desk numbers and am hoping to be able to view these desks from a spreadsheet in VBS on a floor plate

Moving hoods in scenario's
Enable hoods to be able to be moved between floors and buildings
We are using the hood function extensively but it is a real pain not to be able to move hoods around when we are doing our planning.

Show area of a group of spaces when selected
As a Space Planner, I often want to know the area of a space/selection of spaces when considering redesign options. Consider creating functionality in Space Viewer or even VBS where I can select one or more spaces and see the area of the selected spaces.

Bulk Edit Org Units
Currently the selection boxes are only helpful if you are deleting org units which is not common, if the function is there to select multiple items why are we not able to re allocate them as well? In addition to re allocating org units is it possible to use the selection boxes next to each org unit to update the org units in bulk, this means that if there are multiple org units that need to be moved to the same parent org unit we can select them all and move them at the same time?
