We have solved this using the option of a “user-defined field” in the rooms table. There are the attributes “not rentable, rentable, rented” which are provided via an ENUM list.
The USer Defined Fields then create everything necessary for the display in the room console (markings, labels, calculation of areas, selection in the room console, etc.).
We use another user-defined field in the room to assign a rental agreement to the room.
Tenants we add as Division/Department, so that we can use this information also in the room console.
It would be nice to have a function that automatically assigns rooms marked in this way as a rental report for the selected rental agreement.
