I 100% agree with Greg L. This is a complete and total miss on Eptura's part. Please also add the field to the Service Catalog edit view in Archibus. The workaround for our client is going to be harder to manage versus having a single field in the Service Catalog to manage this.

I agree. It would be helpful to have a way to sort by a few columns and choose if they should be in ascending or descending order by fields. It would also be helpful if the view had a grid filter option. Then you could at least filter by building and see if everything is in the right order.

It's unfortune that every time a client adjusts an SLA it automatically reorders them, causing already perfectly ordered SLA to move to the top of the list and be out of place.

Chris, this is a time consuming process that requires approvals and should not be the solution. Referencing... "we clone PROD to test env, where SSO is disabled. Set a users password, and then login as them"

Often Business Partners and internal IT staff need access to Archibus for troubleshooting. This sometimes requires logging into Archibus as that actual user in order to see what they are seeing. With SSO turned on, this is not possible without creating a secondary instance. There are actually 2 needs here.

1-A means for logging in as a non-AD user when SSO is turned on and without having two instances to maintain.

2-having a means to login with SSO on, but as a different user. I've seen other systems offer access tokens. As a user I can click on a button and get an access token (256 char code) and send that to anyone that needs temp access. It's only active for a max of 24 hours and the user is asked how long to make it. When a tech accesses the system with the token, they are seeing everything as if they logged in as that actual user. Something like this would be helpful.

    Use Case 1
    1-Person A books a desk
2-Desk is not available for users to book/use
    3-Person A cancels booking
4-Employees complain that there's never an available desk. This is due to a subgroup of people booking and cancelling regularly. Space Manager needs to identify patterns.

    Use Case 2
Space Manager wants to know in general, how often people book and then cancel? When do they cancel - day before?

I would add that OnSite Mobile also has the same type of need. Maintenance Technicians need to see more layers, while requestors need to see the least amount of info. For the WP Portal, it's a security issue and need-based. For OnSite, it's need-based. As a technician, I need to turn on/off the Mech, Elect, and Plumbing layers.

Publishing rules with different plan types for the different areas, including an application parameter to assign a plan type to Web Central, WP Portal, and OnSite mobile, would be helpful. But OnSite would need the option to select the plan type. By default, they would want to see the base fp, but then they would need to see mech or elect or plumbing or any combination of these, depending on the type of work they are doing.

We've been asking for this for years. Clients are also asking for this as some now manage their security.

Customer IT departments are not interested in setting up multiple instances of tomcat. Modern systems do not require organizations to build a server to run multiple instances or build multiple servers, just so they can get technical support. Plus the license then becomes the issue. If someone has a better workaround that's great, but now customers have to pay extra to get Archibus to work the way most applications do/should?

This seems to be an issue in hoteling as well, messages are hard coded. Please stop hard coding things in the product and move these messages to the message table.

Also, move the site locator icon from the Advanced Search in Space Console to the main Space Console view.

Issue now is setting up and maintaining a site plan from CAD is very clumsy. It also results in an extra building we then have to filter from all uses but the CAD users.

Might be a good to have 2 options in the AutoCAD Extension Properties window to select if the drawing is a site plan or floor plan. If site, then you can select a site and the bl/fl fields are hidden or not able to fill-in/greyed out.
