Workplace Self Service: Attaching Documents to Request
There is desire/ need to attach documents when submitting a Service request without having to disable the camera. Users would like to attach email messages, forms, documents as well as photos, that will give more clarity to the Service Request.

Printing from Workplace
With more and more customers using workplace to provide access to drawings, highlights, locators, etc... this could be a GREAT way to provide drawing access with minimal licensing cost AND w/out having to go to the Space Console (which is pretty intimidating for the general user w/out archibus experience)

Delete one day of a set of recurring bookings
BUG: No option to delete one day of a set of recurring bookings
Created a recurring daily booking for 14 days. I attempted to create another booking for one of the booked days and received a prompt asking if I would like to delete the series. There is no option to cancel and rebook for a single day within the series.30 votes -

Carry over the functionality from Web central for the Service Desk Questionnaire functionality. Or ability for administrator to configure questions/data points on Service Catalog requests.

Book hoteling by neighbourhood
Can there be an easy application parameter to turn on to enable booking by neighborhood? Basically this is a team space. For example some behaviors we would like to see on the workplace portal are:
A: When a user tries to book a desk, there is an automated restriction where they can only book the desks which is a part of a work team that they have active membership in.

AutoCAD: allows the Archibus-CAD/CAFM administrator to use the following commands within AutoCAD to control the Archibus asset text on drawings.
• AFMASETHT – Asset Text height
• AFMASETORIENT – Asset Text Orientation
• AFM_ASETPOS – Asset Text Position
For all SVGs can these settings be added and retained in the generated file. Therefore in Archibus Workplace, Space Console all graphics reflect the CAD drawing and make the text and graphics more user-friendly.26 votes -
Modify Bookings in Workplace
If you access the booking in the Workspace Reservation view, you can’t change the date or recurrence if you made a mistake. Is there a way to modify a booking once done, or can you only cancel the booking?

Workplace: facilitate communication between the requestor and the service provider
It is common that end user and service provider have to exchange information prior to an onsite intervention (e.g. the service provider may have additional questions or the requestor may want to provide additional details about his request)
There's no real way to have such exchange in the current version and using emails isn't entirely appropriate as the exchanged information wouldn't be tied to the request and not necessarily shared with all the involved parties.

Display WR ID on Service Request
When I submit a Service Request using the Service Catalog, it ultimately generates a Work Request which is managed by the supervisor/craftsperson.
As a requester if I wish to follow up on my request and I quote the Service request Number, it causes a lot of confusion because the Supervisors/Craftsperson are using the WR ID to track the request and have no way to correlate it to the SR ID that the client is quoting.To avoid this issue, the WR ID should be exposed on the Service Catalog for the Client to reference if they need to follow up…

Link to request in Workplace
Since a lot of work requests are now created through requests made by end-users through the Workplace, i.e. not in Web Central, it should be somehow possible to have a link in the email notification that is set up in the SLA definition that matches the request so that would point directly to the very request in the Workplace interface (e.g. in the "My requests" list).
This should ideally be done using an application parameter, the same way it is done for service desk notifications.

Amenities for hoteling
Clients looking for flexiwork are asking for functionality of being able to manage equipment configurations when they book a desk due to the fact that certain desks may have different power supplies and docking stations. For some folks, the room type was able to accomodate features such as a tech workstation verses a Cad workstation for example but for more specific requirements, then the reservation module was used instead.
Hoteling has access to the resource section table however, this can only be done for catering resources within webcentral. We are hoping for the ability on the workplace services portal to…

Set a maximum amount of days ahead for how far hoteling users can book in advance
Currently there does not seem to be administrator controlled parameters for how far a hoteling booking can be made in advance. The current controls are in the code to limit a booking that can be made up to 2 years in the future except, it's not very realistic. There should be either:
-a Configuration Parameters under hoteling to which the administrator can set how far in advance bookings can be made.

Users need to be able to see existing room bookings on floor plans in Workplace
When users of Workplace view their reservations and bookings they only see them in list/text format. They need to be able to see them on a floor plan to aid in wayfinding.

"Booking Planner" to show bookings with team members
In order to efficiently work in a hybrid working model context, team managers need an knowing when and where their team (or part of) is in the office building in a specific date. They need to be able such questions as: where is my team (or member of) now?, this employee will be coming tomorrow? when this employee is coming? ?, who is coming next friday? or whom are in the office building now and where their are.
We need a "social planner" to review bookings with team members and always know who's visiting the office when and where.

Workplace service requests: provide external links
As a service provider, I know some of our services actually go directly to an external provider. It would be great to provide a request type in the Workplace catalog that directs the user to an external URL to fulfill that request, so that the request gets routed most efficiently.
Perhaps tie URLs to activity types…activity types have a URL field so that users have something in the service catalog that goes to an external link.

Building List within Hoteling on Workplace
Can we limit the list of Buildings that are returned to only those that have hotelable spaces available to the logged in user? Right now when you are within Workplace and booking a Hoteling space it starts by showing the Floorplans for the Building you are assigned, then you can click BUILDINGS and it shows all Buildings. It would be great if it only showed those Buildings with Hotelable rooms for that logged in user so that they don't waste time searching.
