Different colour options for different booking rules, space types and selections
As an admin, I would like to be able to choose the colours displayed in Engage to seperately show:
- Occupied vs Booked vs Bookable
- Bookable for all staff
- Bookable for the users team/hood
- Bookable all day vs time
- Booked vs unbooked vs unbookable
- Currently selected desk or space
This would need a legend to identify the different colours

Hi Craig, we did do that for our brand color and when an available space was selected adjacent to another available space it was very difficult to tell the two colors apart to identify what space was actually selected. Because the selection color is just a slightly darker shade of the available color, it was just too close.
As well the client had commented that the selection color for unavailable spaces (a slightly darker grey color) when selecting a team was much too close to the normal color for unavailable spaces (a light grey). it was also very difficult to identify what was selected.
Being able to control Available color is great, but adding in unavailable color and selection color will let us configure to a better degree. Especially for people who have eyesight conditions

Hi Jonina
We appreciate your idea. I comprehend the essence of the enhancement and will keep it open for further voting to gauge its popularity.
I thought it might be helpful to inform you that there's an existing feature that allows you to modify the primary selector colour in Engage. This feature can be used to align with your organization's brand colour, should you wish to do so, or to simply create another colour base.
Please see the https://knowledge.eptura.com/Serraview/Engage/Engage_Configuration/Configure_Branding/001Set_up_your_Corporate_Branding page for further information on update the brand colour.

Give the ability to customize the unavailable colour and the selection color
The current defaults don't have much contrast and on some devices is very hard to tell apart

With hybrid working, we have a mixture in our offices of employees with permanent desks and hotdesks. For those who have a permanent desk, they are unable to identify which desk is a hotdesk just for reference or for guidance for colleagues. If you zoom in on the floorplans, assigned desks show names, booked desks are highlighted blue but either unassigned desks or yet to be booked hotdesks are just grey, is there a way to visually label or add a new colour for permanent employees a visual indicator?

Please also give option to make selection color differrent from Available color. Right now, they are the same color and seelction is opaque and available is transparent

Similar to the ability to change reservable desks/spaces in Engage, it would be excellent to change the blue booked icon colour to the customers preferred choice.

Would like ability to identify certain things on the floorplans other than available spaces to reserve. This could be an icon or a different color dot. One good use would be for seats that are not reservable but are available on a first come basis. Users could use the Engage app to find where these seats are located if a formal reservation is not necessary.

Currently, Engage admins can configure the color used to indicate that a seat is available for booking. There are currently two other colors used to indicate seat status:
Dark Blue - Selected Seat
Light Grey (smaller dot) - Seat unavailable
A configuration option to change the color associated with these statuses should be available as well.

Allowing you to see unbooked desks in other hoods will allow teams to have a conversation with each other about sharing spare desks across the floor.
Perhaps this could be a secured action only for team/hood leaders

Make the use of colours consistent throughout the app. As a user, I'd like colours to mean the same thing, wherever I am navigating in the app. Currently, booked desks appear as dark blue on the floorplans/maps, however in the list view (using reservation assist) a booked desk is shown as orange. eg. booked desks = orange & available desk = green.

The color for seats reserved and seats assigned should be different so employees can identify who reserved a workpoint
