Group / Team Bookings
Engage users with the proper permissions should be allowed to book seats in a block. For example, a Team lead should be able to reserve a block of 5 adjacent seats, and then assign those seats to the different users that report to the team lead in the org hierarchy. Once booked, the system should send each affected user a notification detailing the time and place they've been booked.

An enhancement has been delivered to Engage to allow bookings for some or all of teams and custom groups via the Teams and Favorites feature.
This feature may require your Engage system administrators to configure engage with these new features, please refer to the help site at https://support.iofficecorp.com/Serraview/Engage/Engage_Mobile/Using_Engage_Mobile/Team_Reservations_Mobile for more details or contact your Customer Success Manager.

Currently in partial team booking, if some users do not accept, the desks would show as occupied and not bookable by others. It also says TEAM BOOKING but doesn't say which team. Can we
1. apply rules e.g. if not accepted within 24 hours before the booking start time, the desk is released from team booking and others can book them (crucial)
2. display team name so we know which team booked which desks (necessary)
3. display different colors for different teams or just different view (good to have)
4. allow members in team to choose which desk within the team booking they would like to take (good to have) -

Team leads/admins should be able to select the people needed for the team booking, block out the required number of desks for them. Once booked, individuals receive invitation to select which desk they would want to occupy in the block, accept or decline. If not accepted in 24 hours or whatever time set in the system, the booking for a desk is automatically cancelled and desk released to be bookable again.

Tying Team bookings at the same number as people in the Team presupposes your team is co-located in a single office - the reality these days is we have staff in our teams across 5-6 separate offices over 2-3 countries.

When making a Team Booking, you should not need to select the amount of desks equivilent to the number of people in the team.
For example, my team has 50 people in it, but I only need 20 seats because 30 are WFH or not attending the office. -
In the current team/group reservation functionality, I'm only able to book on behalf of the entire team. Because I'm unable to select multiple people in the team that I am trying to book for, everyone in the team receives the invite notification.
We have teams of 4 people up to 100 people assigned at a ratio of 2.5 or above.
So if I book 6 desks (because I know only 6 people in the team of 40 are coming in, as the rest of the people in the team decline the invite, AI removes 1 desk from booking, so if a team of 40 people, had 6 desks booked (because booking only intended for 6 people) if other people in team decline booking, there will be less desks for the people intended, to use. Or in some cases no desks, if all people in the team follow the correct behaviour of declining bookings they don't intend to use. -

@Craig Maroney, would you please provide an update on ETA and availability of this feature?

With limited time spent in the office, teams are planning attendance together for face-to-face time in the office. Being able to book a block of desks is important for teams to connect and know they will be together. Booking individually is challenging to coordinate to get desks together.
