  1. Hi Team,

    We've been using the kiosk for over 10 months now, and I have some suggestions that could elevate the user experience of the Engage Kiosk app:

    1. Customizable Floorplan Orientation: Allowing customizable floorplan orientation would provide flexibility regarding kiosk placement and make navigation more intuitive for users.

    2. Enhanced Operating System Compatibility: Currently, the kiosks can only be installed on Windows OS. Expanding compatibility to iOS or developing a web-based version could improve configuration options in line with local security protocols.

  3. An easy way to see the First Aid Officers / Fire Wardens currently on site. From what I can see Serraview Engage just allows you to filter down to those employees, resulting in an alphabetical list of First Aid / Fire Warden. You then have to click through each person to see if they are on-site and where they are located (or if they're working flexibly). A feature to colour code desks filled by these people would make it easier to find first aiders on-site or easy identifier on Engage at the map view level.

  4. As an admin, it would be beneficial to be able to update the highlighted text in the attached screenshot to
    "Check-in window is from 7am to 10am. Desks reservations without check-ins will be automatically cancelled at 10am"

    This will help promote Desk booking etiquette.

  5. It would be really great if there was a checkbox or an option to enable/disable engage chack-in emails without altering check-in as a whole.

    We already have it for confirmation emails and cancellation emails. It would be very useful to get one for check-in emails as well.

  6. Create an option in Engage for colleagues with a permanent desk so that, when they are out of the office/on holiday/sick leave etc, their desk can become bookable by other remote users.

    This would need a field for the user to set a date and release range as part of this so that, the desk owner doesn't have to remember to stop desk sharing again.

    Also, the ability (for one-off bookings and permanently assigned desks) to: a) require check-in on the day via an email reminder with a check-in button or b) an email asking if the desk is still…

  7. Currently when using SSO with Engage it has the feature of auto-provisioning users. It would be very beneficial to have the ability to turn off or on.

    Having this is critical for the client " The New School ".

  8. Particularly in the browser, it is not super clear that you are checked in, especially when auto check in is engaged. It would be good to be able to see clearly that check in has been done.

  9. As things can happen when people are on their way to or getting ready for a work day, it would be great to have an option to make all bookings require a check in. That way if there is a no show, the booking is auto released and the desk/ space can be used instead of sitting unused as it is technically booked.

  10. Currently when you navigate to the My Profile tile from the Engage app, you are required to re-authenticate your credentials to access the page.

    The user experience is greatly impacted as it is not seamless.

    The app should carry through the users SSO authentication when accessing the My Profile page.

  11. Engage (Web and App) needs to retain requested deep link URL from QR Code through SSO Authentication. Currently, if a user scans a QR code to check into a desk and is NOT already authenticated, the deep link to the desk is lost after Authentication and the user must scan the QR code again for check in. This is frustrating for our users to have to scan twice.

  13. Add captcha or a tick box to Engage to prove someone human is booking desks rather than bots?

    We have some smart IT users who have created bots that will automatically book desks on their behalf every night as soon as the desks become bookable. This is infuriating others who wake up at midnight to book desks, yet half of them is already all booked.

  14. Team Bookings currently display as "Team Booking" on the Engage App. This limits visibility of which team has actually booked for in a particular space and limits natural cross collaboration and pollination between teams. Can the name of the booking be updated to show which team has booked what desks? Ie, "Team Booking - Finance'?

  15. People getting confused as the contact card shows their role, then directly underneath shows the zone they've booked in rather than their division/team. They think the data is wrong, not understanding it's showing the location they've booked instead.

  16. It would be really handy to have the ability to change the check-in message on the reservation tab in the Engage Calendar.

    Please refer to the screenshot attached. Changing the highlighted text in the screenshot to say something like "Check-in window from 7am to 10am. Desks reservations without check-ins will be automatically cancelled at 10am"

  17. It would be really beneficial if we could assign a space with multiple booking access. Some clients are using hot desks, and these desks are used by different people from different org-units and teams.

  18. Serraview displays room names/preferred names/space type labels all the time. It would be helpful to see the same information in Engage without having to zoom all the way in.

  19. Viewing bookings in different time zones (specifically time zones ahead of yours) is confusing.
    Example: someone in LA is going to NY so they book a desk all day for Jan 5th. When they view the booking in Spaces/VBS or Engage, it says it begins on the 4th because 12AM on the 5th in NY is 9PM on the 4th in LA.
    Part of the confusion, I believe, is the lack of consistency between Engage and Spaces/VBS. "Local Time" in Spaces/VBS is the building's Local Time, but "Local Time" in Engage is the User's local time (see attached images).

  20. When making a booking for a time specific booking (E.G. 9am-11am), it would be useful to select multiple days the same way you do for an all day booking.
