Waiting Room Functionality in v25.x
The waiting room functionality seems to have changed and is a bit more difficult to use in the newer versions. For example I can no longer drag and drop Employee records into the waiting room from the left hand side or from the floorplan itself. It seems you must exclusively use the left hand side Employee tab. This involves quite a few clicks to restrict and find the people you are looking for. Also, if I have added 10 people I need to locate to the waiting room, and then find places on a floor for 6 of them and then need to move to another floor, I first need to commit the 6 I have located, which unfortunately then removes the other 4 who still need to be located from the room. Finally another item we have noticed is that if I move an Employee from the Waiting Room onto the floor, then move that Employee back into the Waiting Room (using the left hand panel because we can't drag and drop) it falsely still shows that Employee on the highlight as being cued up to be assigned to that room, but when you COMMIT the changes that person is gone from that room and from the waiting room. The UI updates on this make it very challenging to use and if those could be looked at to make this a more effective tool I think it would server customers in reducing clicks and increasing usability.
