Octavian,
That is a great, yet difficult question. We have customers that use their own Enterprise Content Management system to store documents (and images) for the ls* tables, eq table and activity_log table. I am not sure you will be able to get consensus identifying a single form or table to start with. I think a global approach, similar to the doc_* tables would be best (if possible).

It would be good if this consideration was given to the Assessment applications as well, please.

I completely agree and hope an Application Parameter can be created that allows this to be configured. The current rigidity of design in this instance forces a different user experience for those who do not have many applications assigned.
While many Roles will likely fall into this category, the overall order of the navigation should not be forcibly different than those with more than 10 Applications assigned.
Thank you for your consideration!

I also completely agree with Dan. We lose new business due to Archibus not being FedRAMP certified and it needs to be perpetual/term first and then cloud. While we have rarely been able to cover the FedRAMP requirement by having Archibus hosted in a FedRAMP-certified data center, that is always a stretch and not good enough in the long run.
We have come across several opportunities where Archibus was the best fit in the market; however, FedRAMP was a mandatory requirement that got us disqualified before we could even bit on the RFP.
We have been asking for this for over a decade and it is essential to keeping Archibus at the forefront of solutions within the US Government.

Octavian, I agree with your use case. It would be ideal if the user could enter a URL in place of uploading a document in any document field.
