It would be helpful if a user/group can be notified (emailed) if a room is cancelled.
Use case:
1) Person A makes a reservation (requiring approval)
2) Reservation center (Person B) approves reservation (was notified via email) and prepares for the meeting
3) Person A cancels the reservation
4) Reservation center (Person B) still anticipates the meeting and is unaware that it is cancelledScott Sternfeld supported this idea ·

We were supposed to roll out Workplace as default for all General Users tomorrow (4/12/24). In the testing, we had to put this feature release on hold due to our conference center not being able to have users select from the ~15 different "configuration" options. We had just migrated to using "configurations" from separate rooms, so we could eliminate room conflicts. Currently, we need to make multiple reservations for the same meeting.
Along with this, I do see the need to edit recurring meetings. The work-around is creating the same meeting multiple times over different days.
I do like the fact that you can now edit a meeting fully - Meeting name, time, attendees.

In addition, with reservations requiring approval: if the meeting is cancelled, a real-time email to the approver is also critical.
Otherwise, the approver may be getting the room prepared or turned over for a meeting that isn't going to happen! This results in wasted time and effort and leads to employee frustration.
