Canceled booking notification enhancements
When a self booking is cancelled by the user, or because they did not check in, the user should receive an in app and email notification.
The action should remove the entry in My Bookings too or clearly marked as Cancelled.
The cancellation message should be customisable by Admins, and made more distinct in the mobile and web apps on screen notifications.

As of March 2025, there is the ability to have emails sent out when a user cancels their booking. But there is no ability to have an email sent out when the system auto cancels a booking when the user does not Check-in, for those locations that use the Check-in process. If any email was sent out, it would help to alert the user that they either missed their booking, or they forgot to Check-In when they arrived. Because the space becomes available again after the cancellation of the booking, and the user may have just forgotten to Check-in, and now someone else books the space but when they arrive at the space it is in use.

Users need to receive an email when their reservation is auto-cancelled. There is very little clarity for the user when their reservation is auto-cancelled and causes confusion.

When a booking is auto-canceled due to lack of check-in, change the "check-in" button to show something that indicates the booking was auto-canceled -- the way it stands now, a user would not know intuitively why the "check-in" button is grayed out.

For those reservations that will be automatically canceled due to lack of check-in, please send a reminder email to check-in X minutes before check-in expires. Then after auto-cancellation has happened, send an email indicating as such.

The banner that pops up after a cancelled reservations is easy to miss if you are working on more than one monitor. Can it be larger and/or stay on the screen longer? Maybe needing a click to get rid of it?
