PM Generation on # day of the month
We would like to setup PMs to generate monthly, on the first day of each month. However, the only option is to schedule for the 1st Monday of each month, for example.
The issue clients are running into is they want September PMs to generate in September and October PMs in October, etc. If the pick the first Monday (or any other day of the week), PMs scheduled for the 1st – 7th might be generated in the previous month. Allow supervisors or administrators to delete work logs
Starting in 25.3, craftsperson enter time as "Work Logs". These cannot be deleted via the Maintenance Console like assignments could previously.
We’re finding that many craftspersons don’t care for the start/stop functionality in the Mobile app and manually enter their hours on Mobile or the Maintenance Console. Supervisors and admins are still expecting to be able to edit and remove work logs when needed. It is not uncommon for there to be mistakes that need corrected.
Ideally, either supervisors would have the ability to delete these, or a security group could be added to control permissions for deleting work logs.

Planned maintenance forward planner
A standard feature of other maintenance applications (i.e. Maximo) is to provide a forward maintenance planner or 52 week planner. We really struggle to do this in Archibus. We have set up all our schedules with dates and frequencies so its must be possible.

Workplace Service Desk/Maintenance
Workplace user Service Request screen gives information but needs more, for example if a Request is rejected there is no information as to why is was rejected? which means the user will need to access web central to get more detail. It would be good if they could review the history of the job and maybe update and resubmit
Cancelled Jobs just come off the list so the user has no records, i know that emails can be used, however that is just another place to look for the information, it would be better if it is in one place.

helpdesk operator see all rejected job in console
It would be good for a building operation helpdesk manager to be able to see and manage, followup on jobs rejected during the approval stage. At the moment only the requester can act on this status within the console.

Show requestor name along with ID in Maintenance Console
Many times Maintenance Console users (like supervisors, FMers, CFs, providers/contractors, ...) are not able to identify the requestors just by their Employee ID. So it would be very helpful that Maintenance Console shows also requestor name (i.e. first and last names from related EM record).

Inventory Management - Warehouse Manager
Currently Archibus is enabled with features and functionality for multi-storage locations, craftsperson management of parts for on demand work, maintenance manager for preventive maintenance, etc...
Please consider building out functionality specific to the warehouse manager:
- Mobile functionality for receiving shipments at the warehouse
- Pick/Pull Tickets for requested parts
- Notifications between warehouse manager and craftsperson on status of pick tickets
- Automatic generation of a purchasing list based on minimum storage quantities
- Having the inventory updated once an item has been pulled for pick up, not once the work order has been completed

Enable Multi-Currency within Building Operations
We have a customer who operates a centralised Facility Management team and their responsibilities include management of some smaller sites in foreign counties. They perform maintenance works (i.e. Building Operations) and asset management from their head office, and would like to record all related costs in the local currency pertaining to each site, with the ability to convert currency values to their “home” currency for reporting purposes.
However, at present, the Multi-Currency feature of Archibus is available only within the Real Estate Portfolio Management domain. This customer has explicitly asked if/when the Multi-Currency feature will be extended to the Building…

Delete Craftsperson Warning Message
Define Craftspersons page should display a warning if the craftsperson you are deleting has logged hours on work requests. Currently, if you delete a craftsperson with logged hours on a work request, the craftsperson and all associated logged hours are removed from the work request.
Requested change: Display a warning after clicking the Delete button and before deleting that craftsperson that informs the end user that deleting the craftsperson will also delete all hours logged on work requests for that person. Present a Confirm/Cancel option. Confirm: deletes the Craftsperson. Cancel: no records deleted.

Improve Determine Order Sequence form
Issue:
In Archibus there is form that allow to determine the Order Sequence of the SLA. This form is not very pragmatical because there is no way to pre-order the list by group ID. The easiest way to verify the order and update them is to extract information from the Smart client by exporting in Excel, manipulating the data and re-uploading.Proposal:

Simplify adding time to multiple WR at once
The user experience for adding time to multiple WR at once in the Maint. Console is confusing at best. You select multiple WR and click the 'Update' button. Then select 'Add Craftspersons' (not add time) and it opens a second window. The second window is fine, but it returns you to the Update window. Now what? They have to click the 'X' to close or click 'Cancel' - neither seem right. Customers instead are clicking the 'Update' button to close (since they did make a change by adding time). Show Equipment Standard Description and Eq Description in PM Planner
This would be really helpful to use the Planners since now it is almost impossible to identify the different elements in the view (without cliking on the elements)

PM Scheduling have an active and inactive flag to turn schedules off or on
PM Scheduling. The ability to have and active and in active flag on a PM Schedule to suspend the generation of the PM. this is currently only able to be done by changing frequency interval to mismatch with the current frequency or modify the frequency to no fall into any possible generation period.

We need a "my daily schedule" view on the mobile device for the crafts persons that adds up their hours for the day ... so they can confirm that they put in their 8 Hours.

Automatic assignment of Account codes based on the location?
In organizations that want to integrate with the accounting system. Currently the only way to use account codes is either setup a preventative maintenance procedure to default an account code or to setup an SLA to need to be assigned to a work order. Upon generating the work order, the user can designate the account code. Could it be done in a way where it's more automated, ie building A automatically is account code 11110?

Being able to make updates in Other Costs in the Maintenance Console on an Issued work request
In the Maintenance Console I noticed that there is a spot to update “Other Costs”. Our operation uses this function on a regular basis for special order items that we do not normally stock or to enter in Vendor details (such if we pay Culligan and need to document the cost for their services) however I noticed that once the information is initially entered that the information cannot be edited.
In the view below – for example- the company TMI Heat was not originally set as a “resource type” therefore someone just chose General.

Warning when scheduling PM tasks for procedures without steps
When you define a preventive maintenance (PM) procedure, you can add one or more step(s). This is not mandatory but a step will match a work request (WR) when PM work orders (WO) are generated. This means that if you generate PM WO for a procedure without at least one step, no WO will be generated at all!
This should ideally be improved and a sort of check be implemented. For example upon scheduling the PM tasks by warning the user that it is no use scheduling a PM procedure that has no steps.

Work request adjusting printed job sheet content
We had to get our business partner to make significant changes to the job sheet that is printed for work requests.
Can this not be made more configurable so admins can do this from within Archibus web central, to allow customisation of which fields are displayed on the job sheet.
I know most users are going mobile but there will be some occasions where a printed job sheet will be required etc.
