  1. Creating polygon spaces to function as desks for shift working is ideal. However, because polygon spaces are generally used for spaces like meeting rooms, there is no way to check-in via the Engage calendar. It would be really convenient if we could select check-in options from the space types menu in Admin Settings > Reference Data.

  3. When you click on a seat in Engage the pop up window does not display the name of the seated person. Can we have the same pop up window display on clicking a seat as you get when you search of an employee, with the employee contact information. If a person is not seated in that workpoint, the pop up should have a reservation option if it's a reservable desk.

  5. Would love a way to block/book a section or workpoints not using the team function or the "book on behalf of" function but rather selecting multiple stations and booking all at once.
    We have instances where staff from different Teams and/or locations are looking to block a group of stations and arent worried about each desk being reserved for a specific person.

  6. We are hoping to have the area number shown in Engage and the feature to be able to switch calculations between SQFT (Square Feet) to SQM (Square Meters). This would help our global team and end users to utilize Engage.

    Since we already have an existing calculation to switch between SQFT and SQM by setting up the user Local in Serraview, I'm assuming we can have this data shown when the users click each space.

    If this feature cannot be a generic idea from a development perspective, can we have this as enable/disable function in configuration?

  7. I'd like an SDK so that I can easily embed Engage in my own mobile app

    Our app developers provided this requirement, “Serraview will need to add a parameter CFBundleURLSchemes to their Info.plist file.”

  8. In some areas in web and app, the logo is hard to see due to the contrasting colour. If the platform colour background can't change or fade in area of logo placement. The ability to change where in the area the logo appears would make it easier for branding to control in line with their marketing and logo area preference, as well as easier for end user to see logo tiles.

  10. Currently our users do not receive an email confirmation when they book/reserve a "Space". Only when they reserve a "Desk" do they receive an email.

    Can the system be modified to allow the emails for the "Spaces" bookings/reservations also?

    Whether the system is modified to provide emails regardless of type of space, or if there is an additional configuration setting to allow/disallow for emails for spaces, is not critical in my opinion. Though it would probably allow for more flexibility to allow the secondary configuration setting for the "Spaces."

  11. As an Engage user in a company that uses a hybrid seating model
    I would like to see multiple search results when I look up an employee assigned to an anchor desk in a flexi team/hood
    So that I can find all possible places the individual may be sitting.

  12. When moves occur (via BOS, VBS, Workplace, Spaces) automatically set preferences for Engage (i.e. Reserving Enabled/Disabled, Booking Access). This will prevent reservations on seats that are occupied as a result of a move/new hire. Likewise, when occupants are removed, these preferences should reset to allow reservations. This could be accomplished via "preferences" on each space as well as default values on the Space Type. i.e., certain Space Types, by default, will either be Reserving Enabled/Disabled & will have an Identified default Booking Access when the space is in each of the following states: occupied, unoccupied, allocated, fixed, & flexi.   13. Currently when passcode/faceid is enabled, the session is active for 2 hours before being prompted to re-authorize the connection.

    For clients with Security related concerns, we should add the ability to modify the token lifetime so that it can be reduced from 2 hours.

  17. For example, someone with a specific ergonomic requirement that is only in the office one day a week - I want to be able to easily block out and assign Mondays going forward to this person only but is free to be book every other day.

    We currently have to change Engage Bookings configuration from 5 weeks to 30 weeks, book the desk on her behalf for that period and then change the configuration back to 5 weeks.

  18. In one of the cases SF #619708 the client requested to disable/remove the heat map feature completely for their instance.

    We advised that it can be disabled for user profiles following click on Settings, and make sure "Enable views" is toggled off in Engage.
    But the client's request is to turn of the option to enable it altogether so that users can't even see that option

  19. International travelers are making reservations, but the reservation is based on the time zone of the traveler. This results in the reservation not relating to the time zone where the building (space) is located. Suggest option to reserve a space based on the time zone of the building location.

  20. An option to restrict how many times a user can book the same desk.

    After which that desk would be locked out for a period of time or x amount of bookings.

    This is to encourage users to hot desk and not be territorial over specific desks or locations. As well as encouraging users to sit with different colleagues in different areas.
