Additional Markers

As a Space Planner and Engage user,
I would like to be able to see markers for First Aid kits, AED/defibrillators, eye wash stations, sanitary vending machine, vending machines, kitchens.

So that I can ensure the safety of myself and fellow employees.

this should include a key to identify the markers, and the ability to search for markers

As a Serraview admin,
I would also like the ability to:
- Add customized markers with my own icons
- Rename markers to be different for different sites (so I can cater to regional variation in terminology)

An enhancement has been released to add a large number of additional Markers to Serraview and Engage: Some of the more than 40+ new markers include:

  • First Aid Room and Equipment
  • Fire wardens, equipment and emergency exists
  • Gender neutral, gender specific and accessible markers for bathrooms, showers and lockers
  • Kitchens, catering and tea points
  • Printers, Stationery, and utilities

    Men’s and Women’s restrooms have the same icon. Also, women’s and men’s showers have the same marker. Markers set “interactive” do not display a card with additional information.

    Glad to know that it is now in development phase! Is it possible to rename each icon? It would be extremely helpful/efficient if we could customize the names based on each company's need, w/o adding too many additional icons moving froward.

    Markers that would be incredibly helpful are AED, Fire Alarm pull stations, fire extinguishers and posted evacuation map.

    It would also be useful if these markers could be more visible in the reporting (bigger and a different colour rather than greyscale in Space Reports for example). It would be good to also have the select/deselect all option as it would enable us to easily send a report of just fire hydrant locations for instance which would ideally be easily identifiable (colour/size) when we work with contractors.

    It would be super helpful to be able to customize the marker based on our needs.

    For a global tool to have only one marker, there must be a legend for the end users.

    different type of gender LH/RH bathrooms, water points, zones (collaborative, quiet), break-out etc. It would be beneficial to have options

    There is a need to have additional markers along with the already suggested - there is a need for items like :- Wellness room, prayer room, vending machines, sanitary vending machines, recycle bins,

    I've been asked to put markers on the floorplans for First Aid kits and defibrillators. These aren't available as marker options and yet are clear emergency management tools. They need to be included.

    I'd also like a food icon that denotes kitchens/tea points/breakouts. Something like a knife and fork.

    Since there is a new marker tool that we can implement icon/marker on floorplan in the Space module. That would be more powerful if we could have the icon/marker preview on Engage.
