Custom Team Color
Team colors in VBS are currently determined by the Org Unit Id. We would like to be able to select custom colors for teams when there are multiple teams with similar colors on a floor.

Our company is organized by teams. At some office locations, teams are cross functional with multiple cost centers on a single team. At other offices, there are multiple teams within a single cost center but we still need to define which teams sit where. It would be immensely helpful to be able to adjust the colors assigned to the different teams so that when we run the Floorplan Block report we don't wind up with 10 teams colored with varying shades of cyan.

Additionally, this would also be great for the Space Viewer and the way it highlights by Space Types/Number of Seats/Charge Rule/Unoccupied

Agreed, while it 'looks nice' in presentation, and low level user would not be bothered by the high vibrant colours, this is not a good experience for high use. Our occupancy planner, analyst and operations delivery team spend hours daily in VBS and staring at the poppy colours will accelerate eye exhaustion and likely decrease long term sustainable productivity. The pastel colour pallet of 2.66 and previous versions, are easy to use long term and with the right monitor filter films, long hours on VBS do not have issues.
This may read 'petty' because it's just colours.... but it has more of a functional and operational impact than what was likely initially measured. Either an option to select colour pallet, or, lower vibrant colour pallet. -

As an administrator I'd like to configure different rules for coloring the VBS.

Colours are very vibrant and too hard on eyes. It detracts from the experience of using VBS.
It would help if the orange unused part of the bar was a grey or neutral colour. Even better if all colours were toned down. Thanks -

It would be nice if the colors weren't so similar or to be able to change colors in the visual block and stack.
