  1. There seems to be no fault tolerance in the function/process related to

    "CloseDaysAfterWrDateCompleted"

If the process finds a record that has some form of data issue (it does happen) the process stops at that record and does not continue (on error continue). No other records are processed.
The process starts again the next night and stops again at the same record, so no archives are achieved. Effectively stopping the process

  2. It would be helpful to filter for work requests that have a Checklist from within the Maintenance Console Filter.

In addition, the ability to see the checklist embedded in the Work Request Details view would be extremely helpful. Once a wr is completed and closed, using the Search and Manage would allow the ability to still review the checklist and results that pertain to that work request.
I understand the Maintenance Survey Report is available, but this is difficult to navigate and having it right with the wr is ideal.

  3. When planning preventive maintenance, if you can change the scale of the planning board monthly, weekly, or daily, you can flexibly work on long-term plans, this week's plans, etc.

  5. Currently the PM Planner has a filter for PM Date Status option of 'Missed'. This includes PM's that have not been completed as well as those that were not generated, and requires looking at each individual PM to determine the reason for the flag.
Breaking the 'missed' status into 'Not Generated' and 'Not Completed' would be a more ideal reporting/planning feature for those clients wishing to differentiate.

  6. With this addition we would be able to look to add pre set checklist/inspections before a work request can be issued. The use case here is the need to provide work permits/ method statements often these need to be in place before the work can start. We would be able to create detailed questionnaire forms for these requirements. This will add to the flexibility of when these can be assigned and managed and force workflow.

  7. Regardless of the sort applied, the maintenance console always pushes out/exports data and displays it sorted descending by WR_ID even if a custom sort has been applied (say Location ascending). Clients want the export to come out as they see it within the application. We are asking to make sure any custom filters and sort column selections that have been applied are passed into the Exported file as well.

  8. Recommended validations for Craftsperson Dates, Times, and Hours Worked
    · Date Started and Date Finished may not be earlier than the Work Request date created (or the date when scheduled)?
    · The actual hours cannot be higher than the difference between the actual Time Started and Time Finished. 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM is 1 hour, but you can save 2 Actual hours as an example.
    · Cannot add time for a craftsperson if he/she recorded time in the same period on another work request.
    · Recommend performing these validations on save (Both WebCentral and Mobile).

    The benefit of this…

  9. With Version 25, any mismatch between location of WR and location of Equipment is detected and not allowed. On web central, a pop up is displayed asking the user if they would like to change the WR location to the equipment location or, if they have rights to, if they would like to move the equipment to the WR location. On mobile, if you select a different building/floor/room after adding a piece of equipment, it immediately removes your equipment from the WR without any prompt.

Could this be setup to be a customizable option instead?

  10. It should possible to « manage » the buttons individually. For instance some roles could see and update all requests, just the way supervisors can do, but cannot complete requests. Or it should be possible to allow some specific roles to be supervisor but not use the « complete » button.

In previous versions, this could be done using classic buttons in AXVW files that could be enabled or hidden using security groups or roles.

But in the maintenance console, this seems to be done on a global way, merely depending on few parameters (essentially the craftsperson's attributes, e.g. "is…

  11. There is a major flaw in the current mobile maintenance app, their date and time a craftsperson is due to carry out work is not clear, it's no good just displaying the Date to perform the task if the cf is due to arrive a 2 pm there is no display of this information, at least not until they have got to the CF data and even then the scheduled time is not shown. This is a major issue for a client that are actually fully using the scheduling tasks. It would be very useful for the cf to have…

  12. The addition of Maintenance Checklists was great, but the ability to refer back to the history of completed checklists, print, or search for them in the Maintenance Console is very limited or non-existent.
    1. The ability to search for work that "Has Checklist" from the Maintenance Console
    2. The ability to save a completed checklist in PDF.

    3. Enhance the existing Maintenance Survey Report to group, sort, export and allow printing
    4. Once a work request is Complete and Closed there is no way of getting back to the Checklist - accessibility from Search and Manage to find work requests…

  13. I often find that when the craftsperson links a request from a Preventative Maintenance Request, they forget to change the problem type from "PREVENTIVE MAINTENACE", to the correct on-demand problem type. Once this is done, since the SLA is not designed to move Preventative Maintenance work requests into the " Requested" status, the problem type cannot be changed.

There are a couple solutions/ improvements that I can see that would solve this issue:

    1. add the ability to move Preventative Maintenance requests to the "Requested" status

    2. When linking requests, change the default problem type to blank instead of the problem type…

  14. A client has asked about the option to enable a Digital Signatures for maintenance. There was some sort of help file illustrating this to be possible on the mobile https://www.archibus.net/ai/abizfiles/v25.4_help/archibus_help/user_en/archibus.htm#whats_new23/dig_signature.htm?Highlight=digital%20signature
    that is if customized.

Since it's been a while since this help file has surfaced, can there be the functionality available on webcentral and mobile? It would be nice to have that in the SLA wizard where someone can specify at what step a digital signature from what service agreement role is needed. Ie such as an approver or a supervisor.

  15. A calendar type view (like the Labor Scheduler View) that allows our craftsperson's to see their upcoming work by day / week / month for work that is assigned to them. The ability to see the block of time that the work is scheduled to complete and when a work request is selected, the pop up displays the work request details.

  16. We generate our PPMs several weeks in advance as our business requires advance planning for example to ensure resources and access requirements are in place.

For example, our PPMs are manually generated in blocks of a calendar month at a time, 2 months in advance. So at the beginning of January 2021, we generated the PPMs for the calendar month of March, for us this is approx. 4000 PPMs per month. We have 100k+ assets, over 600 buildings and 16k+ PMS records, the PPMs take a long time to generate, part of the reason for this is down to network…

  17. "Close WO/WR" process has been coded long time ago with a SQL that is unefficient and many times produces errors or deadlocks. After discussing this with many BPs, we have agreed that a complete analysis with re-desing and re-coding from scratch should be performed in this process (considering not only the closing of an individual WO/WR but also the batch closing of many of them and also the AutoClose WFR).

  18. The ability for all users to be able to apply a star [or other type of flag], that only they can see, to work requests within the building operations console .

This would be similar to what you see in most email inboxes. It would allow users with high volumes of work requests to help organize them better and find work requests that they want to focus on faster. Ideally the ability to flag a work request would work like a checkbox where you would click on it and a star symbol [or similar] would show.

  20. Currently, the market perceives Archibus UI as old and not ergonomic.
The efforts made with Workplace and the Service Console are a good step forward. But this applies only to cloud users or users happy with a very basic request process.
Enterprise users need something richer (and this is been a strength of Archibus fr a long time).

As a consequence, we would love to see this :
    * Enhance features of workplace interface so that the different actions which can be performed by an end user are covered (Canceling a request, filling in a Questionnaire, a Satisfaction survey, ...)…
