  1. Multiple customers have recently been asking for a Microsoft Teams integration to support Reservations/Hoteling. As Teams is now becoming more of a central coordination point for many organizations, not just for chat but for file sharing and time management, keeping all administrative tasks centralized to a single app like Teams is desired. This could be as simple as an app built for teams that displays Archibus Workplace within the Teams environment.

  2. Actually Hoteling.

    Use QR to verify arrival for hoteling!

    The process will be:

    1. Set the room capacity to, let's say, 12
    2. Have workers/students book the room till it's no longer available
    3. Place a QR label on the Office/ Classroom door
    4. Have the employee/student "check-in" when they come to work/class to verify occupancy...

    We can use the same functionality to verify arrival at a hoteled desk.

  3. Currently hotelling only allows for booking morning, afternoon or a full day. In the current return to work scenarios, we are seeing more requests for more granular bookings capability.

    The specific request is to support hourly bookings based on a start and end time.

    We have received comments such as: "It comes up in every demo"

  4. There is currently no report available for viewing cancelled hotel bookings.

    The "Bookings for a Date Range" report allows the user to search for all bookings except for cancelled ones.

    Room Reservations has a "Cancelled Reservations - Details" report so it would be nice if Hoteling had an equivalent.

  5. At the moment, if you would like to change the formatting or text that shows up in an email that is sent to the requestor of a reservation, you are required to change the Java coding that creates the emails. This is very time consuming and is extremely inconvenient to the client whenever they wish to make a change.
    In the BO emails and the Move emails, you can go directly in to the record on the messages table and make the change. The change then shows up immediately.

  6. The option to add a Terms & Conditions box before confirming a reservation to certain rooms would be very helpful (ie. by booking this room you acknowledge you accept usage policies, will complete a health checklist for Covid protocols, will clean the area between uses, etc.).

    1. The Work Request created from a Reservation should have all the details from the Reservation.
    2. The Problem Types for pre and post works should be configurable.
    3. There should be a more robust way to configure the SLA for this Problem Types, including a Work Team and not just a Trade.
    4. Rooms should remain blocked for reservations until the after cleaning work is complete (regardless of the post block previously configured).
    5. All this should be implemented also for Hoteling (i.e. Hoteling bookings should also have the option of generating pre and post cleaning works)

  7. Settings should be available to allow users to edit a reservation after it has started. Situations arise (ie. illness, change in plans) where it would be ideal for the user to shorten or delete the reservation to allow others to use the room.

  8. Create a Process to notify employees that a desk they have booked is no longer available.

    Reasons for the unavailability:
    1. desk changed from Hotelable to permanent seating
    2. layout change
    3. renumbering
    5. required cleaning or other work order in process

  9. v.26.1 comes with a Recurring Reservation feature but some of our clients would love the flexibility to be able to configure the system parameters to turn off/on the feature.

  10. When using Outlook plugin with SAML integration users get really confused when they see the Archibus Web Central interface.

    For this it would be ideal if they did not see this and it would auto-close that window.

  11. With reservations, whether this is a meeting room booking or a desk booking the idea is companies now need to make staff check off for before and after use of a booking/reservation, ie. 'did you do this or that?' This questions seems to vary between clients it would be nice to somehow generate a questionnaire that the administers can setup and ask a question to the requester making a reservation or a desk. Some questions they may ask could be:
    - 'Did you disinfect the space?'
    - 'Do you acknowledge you obeyed this or that?'
    - 'Comment on new safety…
