Capacity Limit Improvements
The capacity management feature that’s new to v25.4 was a welcome sight and it’s a feature that many clients have been looking forward to. There has been some feedback on ways to improve the feature and increase its flexibility.
• It’s missing the ability to set different capacities for different floors in a building.
o Currently setting the Occupancy Target % will apply the same value for each floor. Even though a good number of cases will be fine, there are times it will differ and being able to set it at the floor level would be helpful.
• Floor with no more capacity is not displayed in the list of floors in Workplace
o Here is the comment a client provided, “instead of not displaying floors that have reached capacity, display the floor in the floor list and highlight it in some manner to indicate it is at full capacity. The reason why we think this is important is because if the floor is removed from the list, we expect users will contact the help desk thinking that something is wrong.”
• It would be nice to have the system notify a specified user or group when a floor’s capacity is reached.

"Allow selecting floors even if the floor capacity target has been reached or there are no spaces to book" to be available in v2022.02

In Workplace, the number of seats is the total number of available and hotelable rooms - no target applies. It would be nice to see the number of rooms available before the capacity target gets reached.

Please consider a complementary feature in the booking request. Clients would like the ability to Hotel reservation to a specific floor or neighborhood and not all the way to a specific hotelable desk.
