Desk Booking for A Specific Day a Week
Some desks would be reserved for X colleagues only e.g. Wednesdays (permanent desks for them on Weds) and on Mon, Tue, Thu, and Fridays Y colleagues could book these same desks for space optimization. Important is that we would set this for the long term.
A group of people want to block seats so others cannot book those for Wednesdays.

This is critical for our Department. Due to flexible working arrangements, we have staff who are only in for 1/2 days a week, but have WHS or business requirements that require them to use the same desk when they do attend the office. Being able to turn desks off for certain days of the week would be incredibly helpful and support space optimisation
Right now our team are managing these requests by booking on behalf of these staff members every day/week as required which is not sustainable. Only being able to have a desk online fulltime or offline fulltime is not beneficial.
