  1. Ability to export floorplan directly from a Space Viewer or VBS. Currently the floorplan can be exported only via buildings in.
    It is more handy plus not all the users have access to building configuration.

  2. We move desks around all the time. We'd like a way to quickly add/move/rotate the position of workstations/furniture around the floorplan to accurately reflect the current layout.

  3. As a Space Planner,
    I would like to modify colors for the Custom Field View in the Spaces module
    So that I can better differentiate the different values.

    Currently, the colors automatically chosen are too close to tell apart.

  4. As a Space Planner, I often want to know the area of a space/selection of spaces when considering redesign options. Consider creating functionality in Space Viewer or even VBS where I can select one or more spaces and see the area of the selected spaces.

  6. Currently, in the Spaces Module, one can edit tags by painting or using an eraser. I would love that same ability applied to Attributes, using a secured action.

  7. It would be useful to be able to navigate around a floorplan, find storage or locker bays etc, click into them and be able to see their storage/locker/asset information. This could be done with an additional tab on the space form for space types that can have storage.

    It would be great if you could then have a link within that tab to open Storage, Lockers or Parking and view the asset. It would also be great if, from within SLP, you could do the inverse and easily get to the asset on a floorplan.

  9. We need to be able to assign Spaces end user roles limited to 1-2 buildings. The end users need to be able to have the functionality in Space (which is very limited in Workplace Portal). The system administrator needs to be able to assign this access to limited buildings (similar to the function available in Workplace Admin).

  10. Booking systems allow the booking of merged meeting rooms, which can result in one meeting room being bookable as two or more rooms. When mapping spaces from Serraview against resources (spaces) in booking systems, we need to identify overlapping spaces and group them together under a unique space ID.

    For example, two meeting rooms, each with 5 seats, can be booked separately as Room A and Room B. However, when merged, they can be booked as Room C with 10 seats.

  11. Add an option to view seats with a RETENTION STATUS to Spaces->View Only -> Change Space Types View to UNOCCUPIED view.
    Currently you can check Occupied or Unoccupied. The intent is to ensure data is visible so viewers don't assume all vacant desks are available.

  12. Allow the user or organization to set the default view in the Spaces module. The scheduled update for the week of Sept. 6th will make it such that, by default, the spaces on a floorplan will load rolled up to Level 1 of the Space Hierarchy. I would like the ability to retain the option to load the spaces at their lowest level, the way the currently are.

  13. In the Bulk Update tool, for Spaces entities, please add the 'Show Availability in Locator'

    This will make my job so much faster.

  14. As a user in charge of mapping,
    I would like to export floorplans in a format that allows me to re-import them to Serraview without having to make additional changes.
    This includes text for space types and space names being confined to stay within the corresponding polylines.

    Currently, exporting floorplans results in larger text that overlaps polyline boundaries, and, as such, prevents the file from being imported until the text is manually adjusted. Please see the attached example.

  15. As a Workplace Administrator, I want to be able to add retention statuses such as New Starter or Contractor to my Flexi teams so my occupancy data is correctly represented for CRE to allocate our space. Retention Statuses are very effective for retaining space for Fixed teams, however a similar function is not available for Flexi teams.

  16. I'd like to be able to track assets/equipment through the system - including seeing where they are on a floorplan and adding custom attributes to the asset based on the asset type.

    I'd like to associate assets with service requests (maintenance) and moves (moving with person)

  17. It would be beneficial to have the capability to update marker names, either by renaming existing ones or creating new markers based on clients' needs. Every company has different requirements, and for example, pharmaceutical companies could use different markers related to laboratories. This flexibility would ensure that the markers are tailored to the specific needs of each client, enhancing their usability and relevance in various contexts.

  19. Different views and visualizations in the Spaces module can be highly valuable to different kinds of users. For users with only Spaces access, there isn't a good way to view org allocation without running Floorplan Block.

    Requesting that SV builds an org allocation view in Spaces for this purpose.

  20. We would like the ability to hide markers that are not being used and/or will never be used. If there was a way to add something in the admin panel so that you can click a checkbox to turn them on or off in the markers panel, that would be great.

    It would also be very helpful to be able to drag and drop to reorganize them. Currently, they default to alphabetical which makes it hard to find the few that we use - we've had to resort to putting a character at the front so they all get grouped…
