Assign employees to building only (Flexible working)
With clients increasing looking to fully flexible working environments, the concept of assigning an employee to a team area on a floor is becoming outdated. In a fully flexible environment, an employee could be assigned to a building as their base. They would then have freedom to work at any workspace within the building. Effectively the whole building is a single neighborhood, shared by all the occupying teams.

We did the same as Wendy by adding a virtual floor. We named it RU for Remote Users.

We did this by adding a "virtual Floor" to each building

As an administrator I need to be able to allocate our company staff to a building neighborhood to get the most of our being occupation (ratio) and building facilities.
Across all our buildings staff are able to sit on any floor. Only being able to assign a staff member to one floor is very difficult for us as administrators and for our Workplace Validators when they go in to validate where they staff are sitting.
