People and Places: Have this match the "select location view" that is seen when selecting a room for a service request, except with the search bar. Essentially:
Add a Building Button on the Left hand column (it is not intuitive to have to search for a room to find a building)
Add the option of being able to Change the filter criteria like available in the " Select location" view on the right hand side

Add Reservation Room Arrangement Parameter for Booking Length
Would like to see a room reservation configuration option for room booking maximum length, so that some rooms can be available for only shorter meetings.

ASSIGN EMPLOYEES TO AVAILABLE ROOMS IN THE SPACE CONSOLE WITH A RESTRICTED ROLE (3459)
Archibus Users with our XXXX-RP-PU Archibus role can't assign employees to available rooms in the Space Console. Is it only because they don’t have this security group: Space-console-all-access security group, or it has something to do with the fact that we have a customization for these users for the Space Console. What would be the options to have those users to be able to perform this task from the Space Console?

Prioritize Exact Match Workplace Search Results
When performing a search in Workplace, we would like to see exact match results be displayed first. When there is a lengthy list of results (not all displayed), it is important for our users to see the exact match first, otherwise they cannot find the location they are looking for.
Attached is a screenshot example illustrating an exact match record we would like to have returned first on the search.

Workplace App
In the browser offering the availability of the Workplace App once the user has selected to not use the App by choosing 'X' to close the offering, stop offering to use the Workplace App after so many closes.

Health check section - Add a checkbox and add cancel booking button
In the Health Check section , It would be usefull to have an Agree checkbox to ensures user reads content and does not skip to confirm button.
Alternate option then confirm . Add a I agree checkbox, Cancel booking button and confirm button.
Explanation for process if a user has experienced any symptoms within the past 48 hours.

Do not show Create Request in QR for rooms (configurable)
You should be able to hide the service request button (and recent service request) from the QR for spaces.
In this case, the spaces are being used for Hoteling so the service request button should not be visible if you configure it that way through application parameters.4 votes -
Workplace - Search using a combination of words
The search function is not robust enough to search a combination of words that are in 2 areas (i.e. Computer Lab; Room Category: Computer and Room Type: Lab) hence not being able to search through staff’s first and last name.

We are able to remove this option from web central, however, there does not appear to be a way to remove it from Workplace. It would be nice if ARCHIBUS could add an app parameter, AbEssentialFacility.GuestAccountPermitted, similar to AbSystemAdministration.GuestAccountPermitted

Too many CANCEL buttons
On the screen where users can see their workplace bookings or their meeting room reservations there are 3 cancel buttons: to cancel an individual booking, to cancel the whole series, and on the top right corner of the screen there is another cancel button to leave the screen. Better rename the latter button to "Home" for example.

Workplace: Respect occupancy limits
Avoid desk booking (hoteling) and room booking (reserves) when the limit number of employees that can be on-site at any given time reach the maximum planned capacity.

Workplace: Hoteling kiosk improvements
Hoteling application should have a completed kiosk feature. In the terminal, the users should view office placements for themselves and others, and check out of the workspace. In this way, employee checks out early, the hoteling application could alert facility and service staff that the space can be made available for someone else
Additionaly, the hoteling software should allow employees to go online to find available workspace based on proximity to certain areas.
Optionally, when there are more requests than available desks, hoteling application also should manage wait lists and handle walk-in requests, making it painless for companies to juggle…4 votes -
Workplace Dashboard configuration
Right now if the Book meeting space function is turned on the option to use it is available for all buildings on the Workplace dashboard even if they have no meeting rooms defined and marked as reservable. Is it possible to get the system to only display this function on the workplace dashboard if the building selected has defines meeting room spaces. If not the the Book meeting rooms option would not be available on the workplace dashboard.

Expand room arrangement details to support user in selecting an appropriate space to book
When a user is trying to find a meeting space, they can filter the available rooms by type, use and arrangement. It would be useful to include more information like:

Users are becoming more dependent on the Workplace app and never need to log in to WebCentral for any of their tasks (ie. workspace bookings only)

Accessibility - Support the use of Windows Contrast themes
Workplace controls can 'disappear' when different Windows Accessibility Contrast themes are selected.
While accessibility improvements have been and continue to be made, users can change their Windows contrast and still have issues navigating the Workplace app.
Official accessibility support in these configurations is desired to support government clients.
Example: Using the "Aquatic" setting (see below on how to set), there were still multiple WCAG findings using a browser accessibility test tool related color contrast ratios.Steps (Windows PC):

To determine whether the attendees will attend the meeting virtually or in-person
There could be a scenario where organizer may invite 20 people to a meeting but only 10 would attend in-person and remaining 10 would attend virtually. This may help organizer to manage the resources, such as services, catering, space management etc. Currently, there is no provision for determining whether people will attend the meeting virtually or in-person. Having a toggle option to indicate people as virtual while adding them to the Meeting room booking will allow the organizer to get an accurate count. Moreover, if you have your Outlook or Google calendar integrated with Archibus, you can send meeting links…

Harmonize Meeting Booking Notifications
The notification emails are not consistent when you book a meeting as an organizer versus when you invite attendees to a meeting.
When you book as an organizer without inviting attendees, you receive an email notification with the door code info for certain rooms, but without the ics file to book it in the calendar.
If you invite other people they receive an email with the ics file, but no door code info.
Can both emails include the door code info and the ics file attachment?
