  1. As a user lodging a service request, I start by scanning a room's QR code. By doing so, I'd love for the list of available request types to filter to just those that are applicable to that location.

    Request types can be associated with key words. Allow rooms or room standards to also be associated with key words? That way starting with QR codes to enter a request, the system can match up key words and display the relevant request types.

  2. Users would like to get notifications on their mobile devices to Check-in to their bookings. Currently the only notifications are sent by email. Not all users check their email on their mobile device, A popup notification would be very helpful for users as a reminder to Check-in to their bookings.

  4. When working within the Workplace the building list searches for Building Name or Building Code. We have users that only know a building by its address. Can the list of fields searched include the building address?

  5. When users are restricted from booking certain rooms (by dv, dp, team, bl, fl, or a VPA restriction) it can be very useful for them to be able to see rooms that are available that they themselves do not have access to book directly.

    For example if a team in the Legal division comes on site and there are no Legal desks available, instead of going home they can see that IT has a bank of available desks. They could then approach an IT admin to book one of those desks on their behalf. For organizations where space is at…

  6. We would like for the system to keep track of who makes and cancels bookings made in webcentral and workplace. There have been reports of strange bookings for some users and we don't know who made those.

  7. Allow direct linking to Workplace tasks such as Bookings, People Search, etc such that a user does not need to first select this task from the landing page.

  8. Here are the 2 jobs we would like to have run automatically every night after the SpaceServiceUpdateAreaTotalsSpaceTime (Garrett is checking with Archibus if that one can be turned off but if not or if we decide to keep it on anyway, we would like to have the following ones to run after):
    Update Area Totals
    Update Employee Headcounts

  9. The maintenance teams often use other applications for their services (access requests for Security, break requests for Catering, access to standards for Documentation, etc.)
    It would be very practical to be able to integrate the web addresses of these dedicated sites in the form of hyperlinks, in the body of the blue text that appears when a request is created (see photo below). The purpose being to immediately redirect the user according to his need.

  10. Enable the ability to track the employee who booked the workspaces as well as the employee who is assigned to use the workspace when a workspace is booked for other in the workplace. Currently, when a user books a space for other, the system applies the employee name who the desk is booked for in the rmpct table, but does not track the actual employee who requested the booking.

  11. Better slider functionality – time displayed isn’t time you select. Also the ability to enter time with keystrokes or drop down menu instead of a slider. Mobile phone users find the slider difficult.

    In Release V2022.02, on meeting space bookings, with Accessibility Mode enabled or on a mobile device, the timeline slider interaction has been replaced with dropdown menus for selecting a meeting start and end time.

  12. Floorplan blobs and numbers fly off the room when scaling on a mobile device or Firefox browser. I would like this fixed without removing the blue blobs. Users who are not familiar with floorplans find them very helpful.

  13. The workplace has gotten a lot of good attention. Sometimes clients are asking for methods to request a project request over the workplace.

    This can be done via the method of the service request where a type of service request is a project. It may not necessarily fill out all the details of a project but this allows people to request for:
    -office reconfigurations (construction projects)
    -Condition assessments requests
    -Hazardous Assessment requests
    -sustainability assessments

  14. We are starting to use the Check-in feature for workspace bookings and have come across a situation where an admin assistant has booked a workspace for their Executive Director and would like to check-in for the Executive Director as well. Currently the system does not allow for this to happen. Only the person for whom the booking was made can check-in. The option to allow the person that created the booking to check-in should also be available.

When a user accesses the Workplace landing page and does not have a default building assigned to them, they get the full list of buildings in the system regardless of if they have bookable workspaces or are even active buildings. Can the original list of buildings be limited to buildings that have bookable workspaces?

  16. Hi team.

    With the HotelBookingRestrictions parameter, employees can be restricted to a specific building, floor, division, department, team, or a combination of these elements. Valid values are a comma-separated list of the following elements: 'bl', 'fl', 'dv', 'dp', 'team'.

    It would be very useful to add 'bu' (business units) to the parameter restrictions, as it is highly beneficial for allocating expenses by business unit. Currently, clients within a BU have multiple divisions ('dv') or departments ('dp'), which prevents them from using those options. Additionally, a BU may have spaces in more than one building.

  17. In Workspace Booking, users can view the available spaces within a building without needing to click on each building. However, in Meeting Space Booking, the available spaces are not displayed directly. This requires users to click on each building individually to check availability, which can be time-consuming and less user-friendly.

    Proposed Improvement:
    Add a feature to Meeting Space Booking that displays the number of available spaces next to each building, like Workspace Booking.

  18. To develop new features on Workplace using the actual geolocation of the device.
    That works on web version of Workplace but on mobile doesn't.
    Because the permission for locating the device is not enable on Workplace App.
    It would be very useful for the next requierement.

    Set Up
    User only can book hot-desking using QR. Because, to enforce users to use
    the reservation and make it on the office.

    Problem
    A cheeky user takes a photo of the QR to make reservation from their house.

    Solution
    Using the geolocation device we can monitoring if the user is on the office…

  20. Adding a calendar option to the Workplace catalog for a service request, rather than manually typing it in the work description would be extremely helpful.
    A simple example: I would like a picture hung in my office. I will be out on November 21, can you please do it then?

    Adding a Calendar to select the date and then store it with the work request would be perfect.
