  1. As users move away from the desktop Outlook application, and onto the web, the plugin functionality should become available on the web. We see requests for equivalent functionality on the web Outlook, as well as thoughts on including Teams functionality.

  2. We are seeing requests for wayfinding capabilities within Archibus Workplace and/or a mobile app. Customers want to provide directions for their employees when they book a conference room or hoteling space.

  3. The new workplace portal has a section where if one tried to either book a meeting room or book a desk, the user would then typically see a floor plan. One example of this is the NC05 building (the hq database data) where the highlighted rooms with the blue dots hovering above represent a room that can be booked or reserved. This blue dot is not very dynamic in its size and seems to be a one size fits all. The other issue is the text size which is stale. For clients that want to really expand product use on…

  4. In order to integrate with SV reservations/bookings, and to align with market direction, Exchange/GCal should be the system of record for room reservations.

  5. Office 365 online calendars is a pretty common requirement, with this work from home/return to work currently a very popular item, that an ARCHIBUS app for the 365 calendar would mean it would mean:

    1. Easier to deploy for organizations whose staff now are working remotely and may not all have a corporate laptop synced to an desktop version of Outlook (and would also need to install the traditional plug in)
    2. Likely very compatible with Microsoft Teams (which most companies have now all started to or have switched over to)
    3. Easiest change management process, given that the support for training and…

  6. In the Search Employee section in the workplace dashboard, only the employee floor and room ID are displayed. Can the building be added to the employee location? Many managers will have employees located in different buildings so it would be very beneficial to show the building, along with floor and room, in the employee location

  7. We need to be able to control who can book what space by options such as:
    The Div, Dept, or Teams the space and employee are associated to (which would need to be more than one, i.e. a space of employee could have multiple teams associated.
    The building, so only employees/ residents of the building can book a space etc.

    Without further options such as this we are been forced to look away from Archibus for our Hoteling needs as its too basic in functionality and how it can be controlled. And if we do it will also mean we…

  8. While there is the ability to export reports in several Web Central applications to a DOC or XLS file, there is a complete absence of them in the Reservations and Hoteling out-of-the-box reports.

    Aside from DOC and XLS exports, other viable options would be to export in PDF format or even the ability to print the on screen record set in a readable format.

  9. Although there is the ability to manage capacity for an individual room, there is no ability to manage capacity at a floor or building level. Space Management provides the ability to specify capacity but this setting is more for planning and does not impact actual bookings.

    Ideally there would be a mechanism that gives administrators the ability to set a capacity by percentage for buildings and floors.

    For example, if the sum of the capacities for a floor (or building) is 100 and a setting exists to limit floor usage by 75%, if the system reaches 25 bookings, no more…

  10. When reserving a desk, we would strongly like the ability to hover over "unavailable" spaces to see who has reserved that seat or to see who sits there if it is assigned to someone. With that, looking for the added possibility to include employee names in the hoteling module floorplan graphic to be able to see which desks are assigned to someone and who that person is.
