Bulk Renewal of Leases on the Lease Console
It would be great if the lease console supports bulk copying to create renewals where you set:
1. The new start and end dates for the leases
2. Have a checkbox to match renewed costs to lease dates
3. All other properties are copied over (similar to using a lease template)
USE CASE: If a company only had a couple leases, they have no reason to purchase software. However, any client who gets ARCHIBUS leases is because they have a substantial amount of leases. For many organizations, this is a mess to manage individual leases especially for lessors so companies tend to renew leases at set frequencies, ie. every fiscal year or it happens only during a certain month. Would you really want to spend all day renewing 100 leases within one day, one at a time because it's renewal period?

The bulk renewal of lease will not copy clauses, options, amendments, documents and former lease communication logs.
The bulk renewal could copy lease records, suites, lease contacts.
It is also possible to copy active lease recurring costs using the new dates.Copying the Lease Indexing and Lease CAM Cost profiles complicates the bulk renewal, because of too many variables.
Is it ok to bulk renew without automatically creating Lease Indexing and Lease CAM profiles? That means that the Lease Administrator would have manually enter those for the new leases.
