We would like to setup PMs to generate monthly, on the first day of each month. However, the only option is to schedule for the 1st Monday of each month, for example.

The issue clients are running into is they want September PMs to generate in September and October PMs in October, etc. If the pick the first Monday (or any other day of the week), PMs scheduled for the 1st – 7th might be generated in the previous month. For example, for September, the first Monday was 9/4 and the first Monday of October will be 10/2. On September 4th, it generated all PMs scheduled 9/4 – 10/1. That also means in August it ran all scheduled through 9/3.

The bigger issue, specifically for some clients, is that each October and April the craftsperson’s rotate which location they are working at (so they all know all facilities). When the PMs scheduled for October are generated in September, they are assigned to the person working there in September, not the person working there in October and they are often seasonal items. Then hundreds of PM work requests have to be manually reassigned to the person rotating into that location.
