If the end user performs a Smart Search and selects a building then goes to Advanced Search and performs a different search the Smart Search shows the original search and is not updated with the Advanced Search parameters. This is extremely confusing to the end user especially if they do a building name search in the Smart Search and then go to Advanced Search and do a different building search.

Development has determined that this behavior is unfortunately a consequence of the product's design. “Smart Search” and “Advanced Search” are two separate functions and they remember their own last search criteria. If you need this changed, I would suggest submitting a UserVoice Item for this.
