Conditional formatting for filterable consoles - Space, Building Ops, Move, Lease
Many of the consoles (Space , Lease, Building Operations, Move ) display grids of information that are reviewed based on criteria such as priority, dates, status, etc. The ability to highlight based on value related criteria would be fantastic, and could be implemented in a variety of fashions.
One such approach would be allowing a view related to each console for If>then logic for each field, very similar to the filter panel available in Smart Client.
For example: If <field> has <relation> to <value> then <format>.
<field> would be either any field available in the current grid, or a predefined subset.
<relation> Similar to Smart Client, includes >=, is null, begins with, after date of
<value> the criteria on which the statement is evaluated as true
<format> The format to apply, such as color, boldness, italics, underline, etc
The use case for this is to allow users to quickly visually identify meaningful data points when looking at longer lists, assisting their focus and priority.
