2. Bulk edit for assets on Webcentral's Asset Lifecycle consoles

   When going into the asset lifecycle consoles, a user with the right security group should have the ability to perform bulk edits. It's not efficient to go and edit 1 asset at a time. Especially if a user was using the exceptions reporting and found 3000 assets were missing a value of some property from the exceptions filtering, it makes sense to bulk edit them.

3. Equipment standard based bulk asset generation Improvement

   The equipment standard and bulk generation needs to be improved. The use case is if I'm going to make the effort to define an equipment standard where I've added in manufacturer information, CSI information, costs and model information, this should have copied over for the asset registry.

   So here's the use case. I have to create 10 extra equipment that came in a batch. The only thing different about these 10 items is the serial number and the unique asset ID. Meaning it's the same model number, same cost, same extra attributes, same warranty, same PO invoice.

   The improvements that should be made are:
   1. When defining asset standards - there should be an asset attribute feature here too.
   2. when using the asset registry, and choosing the bulk option, if you took that time to setup the first one properly with all the warranty, service contract, equipment owners, costs, telecom for software versions, additional attributes, model number, manufacturer, CSI values etc...Then hit save and next, you're forced to repeat all that manually (even if you had an equipment standard) it really should be a button to copy all values over to the next asset. Then the user can just change the serial number or location values (if different).

   If a user is trying to generate 30/40/50 assets that are arriving in batches, it's a lot of work to have to manually setup that tabs of information for each one.

4. Homogenize id's length for assets tables

   As we use the integration with REVIT for BIM integration, the use of different lengths for different codes of asset tables (eq,ta,fn...)
   It would be good to have the codes (and descriptions) length are all the same (to the longer ones) so they can be treated in similar ways in BIM and other systems.

5. Assigning Custodians takes a long time to load

   Whenever a user does a task like : Task: Assign Assets to Custodians
   Task File: ab-eam-assign-to-custodian.axvw

   And the user does the following:
   1. Find an equipment
   2. Add an owner custodian via the "+" button
   3. Click on the '...' button on the New Owner name field which will allow one to select a value.

   This select a owner view is called (ab-team-member-select.axvw) and it takes a long time to load, sometimes 20-30 seconds because it seems to pull from the employee, vendor, contacts and the team member tables.

   it would be better to have some default restrictions in these views to not take so long. Similar issues appear in the task: Assign Custodians to Assets
